Volunteer and Shop Early!
In order for a huge sale like this to succeed, we need lots of people to pitch in and volunteer. This is a great opportunity to work alongside and meet other area moms and dads, while being a part of an effort to stretch the family dollar. You do not need to be a consignor to volunteer! And there are several incentives available to volunteers...
First, all volunteers get one pre-sale pass that enables one person to shop the sale before it opens to the public. The pre-sale hours are held on Friday from 10:00 AM until Noon. This lets you be sure to get the items on your shopping list and get your pick of the best items available! Only one person per pass, please.
Second, since consignors already get one pre-sale pass, they instead earn a greater percentage of their merchandise sales by volunteering. So by volunteering and consigning, you'll not only get a pre-sale pass, but you'll also get more money for the items you do sell. See the Sellers page for more detailed information on percentages.
One note about volunteering. The sale is a busy place. Please do not bring children with you when you volunteer. Since you will be very busy, it will be difficult to supervise children at the same time.
Here are the volunteer shifts that are offered
(note: they may not all still be available):

| Friday 10:00 AM–12:00 PM | Sale cashier, re-hang merchandise, greeter, tag sorting |
| Friday Noon–2:00 PM | Cashier (this is the busiest time of the sale), greeter, tag sorting |
| Friday 2:00 PM–5:00 PM | Cashier, re-hang merchandise, greeter, tag sorting |
| Friday 5:00–8:00 PM | Restocking, cashier, re-hang merchandise, greeter, tag sorting |
| Saturday 8:00–11:00 AM | Cashier, re-hang merchandise, greeter, tag sorting |
| Saturday 11:00 AM–2:00 PM | Cashier, begin teardown of sale, tag sorting |
| Saturday 2:00–5:00 PM | Teardown of sale, tag sorting and tallying |
| Saturday 5:00–8:00 PM | Sorting and tallying tags |
For higher consignment percentage in exchange for volunteering: the volunteer can be yourself, spouse, or a friend. Consider sending your significant other for the brute work of set up and tear down!

If you are consigning with us, please follow the link at the top of the page to register for your shifts. Some shifts fill up quickly! Also, please understand that if you are a consignor and you don’t show for your volunteer shift, your consignment percentage will be returned to the original 50%. Please call if you will not be making your shift!
